For Spread of Braille

Since I started developing this app, I have realized that the environment surrounding Braille is expanding but narrowing.

The number of Braille users is quite small compared to the population.

The Braille notation in daily life has not been widespread.
In fact, it seems like the number is actually decreasing.

I’ve heard people say that they can get by without Braille if they have image recognition and speech translation, with the development of digital devices.

Even for people with vision loss, learning Braille from scratch is extremely difficult.
So, some people say ‘It is better to have voice support’ ‘Braille is not required.’

When I asked people who actually use Braille, they said that if you miss the audio, it is difficult to go back and listen again.

He told me that if it was written in Braille, it would be easier to go back and read it earlier, and he could read it at his own pace, and that Braille was convenient.

Even things he doesn’t want others to hear can be heard.
It would be a problem if Braille disappeared !

We realized that if the number of Braille users remained small, they would be treated as a minority forever.
So, we created this app with the desire to increase the number of people who use Braille, and those who can see but can read Braille.

Change the world by increasing the number of Braille users, and create a world where Braille is widely used by both sighted people and people with disabilities.
